A reminder for the next show I am doing:
Sarasota Gem, Jewelry and Bead show at the Sarasota Municipal Auditorium
801 N Tamiami Trail, next to the Van Wezel Center.
It’s a Frank Cox event.
We will be there this upcoming Friday, Saturday and Sunday, October 11-13, 2013, and if you are local to the area, I hope you can make it.
If you are into jewelry (fine or other) Gemstones, or beads, there is a good selection for you.
Here is a Quick tour of the Show I made at the last one, to give you an idea of what to expect, and the location I am in, in the near Right corner.
I will be bringing some nicer estate pieces, including signed vintage costume jewelry, sterling silver and nice higher end designer pieces.
Photos to follow.
Update: A preview of some items for the show.
I am inclined to say: “Prepare to be impressed”, especially when I think of this remarkable Titanic-worthy 18k diamond and tanzanite necklace, totalling 10 ct in gemstones!
You should know that these are snapshots from my phone and certainly do this piece no justice. You just have to come see it in person.
A stunning, deep blue-purple teardop-cut tanzanite is nestled in a halo of clean, white by round-cut diamonds,
suspended in a Y necklace of bezel-set station diamonds, all the way around.
Tanzanite weight: 3.75 ct. Diamonds: 7.75ctw
The fact that the diamonds go all the way to the back is uncommon. Often, to keep labor, manufacturing and selling costs reasonable, the diamonds stop somewhere near the the sides to the back of the neck, where just the metal continues.
Invisible set, deep blue sapphire and diamond ring.
Orange and pink Sapphire chunky Ring
Sunburst Earrings and Pendant/brooch set, citrine in 18k yellow gold
Art Deco Sapphire and Diamond Earrings, A La Great Gatsby
Le Vian pink Amethyst trillion-cut ring
Baguette and round diamond band.
