A few Preview snapshots

Today was the first day of the Gem and Jewelry show. Of course I was scheduled to be there, as well as showing you some photos of the jewelry just in.

Alas, a health issue waylaid my plans and warning signs I have been ignoring finally took me down.

Let me use this as a PSA, friends, to take good care of yourselves and protect your body like the precious gem that it is – at least as well as better than you would care for your fine jewels.  Lesson learned.

I’ll be playing catch up Saturday and Sunday and hope the Sarasota/Tampa Bay people can make it.

Here are some of my recently acquired pieces:

This French painted cameo ring is an oversized beauty.

It was hard to convey the beauty of these tanzanite earrings with the humble Iphone. The tanzanites are a total of 4.60 carats.

This huge and stunning diamond piece seems to double as a scarf ring and a ring.

A sweet diamond horseshoe necklace.

Bakelite; I don’t have many carved bangles in stock as they sell fast, but every collection needs a few spacers.

These and more will be on show at my booth this weekend at the Gem, Jewelry and bead show,

Sarasota Municipal auditorium, 801 N. Tamiami Trail. Sarasota, FL

Quick Update – Sarasota, FL Gem & Jewelry Show

It has been a slow (leisurely) summer but the show season is about to gear up again.

Seriously, if anyone has any tips to keeping your momentum going when you’re too relaxed, please share.

(I have managed to list ONE item in my Etsy shop all week, even vowing that I would churn out a solid few hours to justify the full spa day I took with my family, but no dice!)

The next Gem and Jewelry show in Sarasota is coming up next weekend, August 22-24 and I have been busy curating new treasures to show you.

The venue is the Sarasota Municipal Auditorium at 801 N. Tamiami Trail.
Hours are Fri/Sat/Sun 10am-5pm.

I will be back to post a few preview photos and add details.
I hope you’ve all had a good summer and are savoring the last sweet moments of lazy evenings on the porch.

Save me a mint julep.
